The Consultant’s scope of work will include the following:
- Design, implement, and operationalize models and data pipelines that leverage unstructured data to implement the Baker?Bloom?Davis (2016) uncertainty index methodology for multiple countries and thematic sub?indices.
- Support the development and deployment of machine learning models for macroeconomic nowcasting and forecasting in the context of African countries.
- Develop related interactive and visually appealing dashboards to enhance the dissemination of model results and support insightful decision-making.
- Create comprehensive documentation around data products developed and facilitate knowledge transfer to enhance the capabilities of in-house analysts.
