The Agriculture and Rural Finance Division of the Bank seeks to retain the services of a short- to medium-term Individual Consultant (the “Consultant”) to support the investment team in accelerating business delivery efforts, with the objective of achieving the Bank’s operational targets under the broader Feed Africa Agenda.
The primary objective of the Consultant is to provide hands-on, strategic, and analytical support to the Division Manager in specific areas related to the processing and management of both investment projects and technical assistance programs. The Consultant will be actively involved throughout the entire project cycle - from origination and appraisal to approval, implementation, monitoring, and completion. In addition to transactional support, the Consultant will contribute to the Division’s strategic positioning and operational effectiveness by conducting market and sector analyses, performing value chain assessments to identify investment opportunities and constraints, and preparing high-quality presentations, pitch materials, and division-level decks for internal and external stakeholders. This work will help inform project design, enhance visibility, and support decision-making across the Division’s pipeline and portfolio.
