The objective of the assignment is to support the operationalization and roll-out of the RPFF, establish and strengthen the TCU’s functions, and enhance engagement with sector teams within the Bank and RPFF donors. The services to be provided under the assignment include:
- Support the RPFF Technical Coordination Unit in meeting all its reporting obligations as captured in the RPFF Instrument and the RPFF Operational Guidelines (RPFF OG).
- Engage with relevant operational departments to ensure alignment of all targeted projects with RPFF operational requirements.
- Oversee the internal review and approval process of project proposals under the RPFF’s Non-reimbursable Technical Assistance Window and Investment Window.
- Contribute to project origination, structuring and implementation activities of eligible projects under the RPFF’s Non-reimbursable Technical Assistance Window.
- Negotiate and provide inputs into financing documents of RPFF projects to ensure alignment with all requirements.
- Undertake donor and client engagement activities as required.
- Support the preparation of annual work plans and budgets, semi-annual and annual reports and periodic updates as required by the RPFF.
- Organize meetings of the various RPFF committees.
- Provide strategic inputs towards the long-term development of RPFF.
