The two Senior SDMX experts will provide technical expertise to support the implementation, adoption, and operationalization of SDMX-based systems across Africa.
- The consultants will work closely with the African Development Bank (AfDB), national statistical offices (NSOs), central banks, and other data-producing agencies to support strengthening data exchange, interoperability, and dissemination frameworks
- Provide technical guidance on SDMX architecture, implementation frameworks, and data exchange protocols.
Advise on SDMX adoption strategies, ensuring consistency with international standards and best practices
Support the data modeling activities with the Bank and in RMCs - Support the testing, validation of SDMX web services, APIs, and connectors (e.g., Power BI SDMX connector)
- Support the implementation of activities under the STG-15 on ICT for statistical production
- Support the implementation of the Pan African Data Sharing Community.
