Background
Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) Côte d’Ivoire is preparing a study on the introduction of agricultural training in secondary schools in Western Côte d’Ivoire. The program will be implemented in cocoa-producing regions and will involve both schools and households. To support a planned evaluation of the program, IPA Côte d’Ivoire is seeking a qualified survey firm to carry out baseline data collection. The study will combine quantitative surveys of
students, households, and schools with qualitative fieldwork to gather insights from teachers, parents, and community leaders.
Objectives of the assignment
The objective of this assignment is to conduct high-quality baseline data collection to inform
the evaluation of the program. Specifically, the selected firm will:
1. Implement quantitative surveys with schools, students, teachers, and households in selected communities.
2. Conduct complementary qualitative research through focus group discussions and key informant interviews.
3. Deliver clean, high-quality datasets, transcripts, and structured reports that meet international research standards.
